The Ubunye Coordinating Committee has opened applications for Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson for 2012. Applications close on the 15 August 2012 at 16:00 and should be sent to jacqui [at] ubunye [dot] org [dot] za.

The Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Coordinating Committee share the role of:

They are responsible for overseeing the Coordinating Committee’s direction and strategy. They will further be responsible for Ubunye’s yearly NPO report, external relations and ensuring the coordinated response of Ubunye to contingencies that may arise. They will also be required to represent Ubunye in all UCT forums including Student Assembly, the SRC Development Agency sub-council and the Service-Learning working group. Additionally, the Chairperson shall chair all meetings and the Deputy Chairperson shall be responsible for maintaining an accurate record of all meetings.
